What metal is it hitting? You probably just have it adjusted wrong.

it's hitting the trigger guard (silver pieces) at the bottom of the trigger. i got this kit and the trigger guard pieces were not installed so i asked the guy to have them installed so im thinking the tech or whoever he got to do it sunk them into the frame itself too far, not giving the trigger enough room to clear the trigger guard. here we go:

It's those grips. I'll be the good guy to step up and take them off your hands
Do NOT dremel it tho! try adjusting it

It's just as simple as adjusting your trigger. Don't damage the frame by dremeling it.

If screwing in the triggers set screws doesn't stop it's rearward travel then you might be missing the frames internal trigger housing that must be there to adjust the triggers post and Pre travel. It should be black

Trigger problem
My suggestion, remove the trigger and give the bottom of the trigger a slight bend forward, don't dremmel.

I take that back
Looks like you r missing the screw to trip the lever on the board screw number two from top.
Screw number 4 you adjust to push the trigger forward so it doesn't hit frame.
The combination of these two screws along with number 3 should give you desired result.

not parting out the frame anymore..here's where the project is at as of rt now:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
there are still a couple issues im having. The power button is not fitting right, it's too tight and i dont want to break it. i think this frame was anno'd and maybe its too thick? or do the nxt's use a different power button than sfts?
the other issue im having is still with the trigger hitting the trigger guard. ive adjusted the trigger screws as much as i can and still the trigger wont move forward and is very tight regardless of adjusting it. should i sand the trigger guard?
help!
