Paintball and tattoos

Im looking to get a tatoo but if it`s going to get all messed up by getting shot i dont really think its worth it. Its really only a concern for when i get bunkered since it would be on my upper back and shoulder. Have any of you ever had an issue with this?

No. But you can cover the tattoo with the same type of bandaging that you receive at the tattoo shop when you get it. It will protect it. Or just layer your clothes under your jersey.

Don't play until the tattoo is fully healed and it will be fine.

2 week heal time is all you need. 1 week it will still be shedding however shouldn't be susceptible to getting messed up from paintball hits. Just layer.

Is this your first tattoo? I remember that I played Living Legends V this past year 4 days after getting a tattoo on my wrist. I got shot there at a pretty close distance. Yes it hurt a little more because the skin was dealing with an open wound. Just cover it up, maybe tape it up with gauze, and you should be fine.

I recommend waiting the week or two for it to heal before playing. And remember to apply lotion to it. You don't want it getting infected and dried out.

How soon are you playing after getting the tattoo? You want to wait about a week or two depending on how fast it is healing.

it will be fine as long as you aren't sliding or diving on it
