08 slg hyper 3 removal...

For some reason I can't get the hyper 3 off my slg. It will turn for about 1 full turn & then stop like something is blocking it. Am I missing something?

Hey homer! long time dude!

From my brothers SLG it would remove easily... just like any other regulator. The first time it took a bit more force, but other than that its screws in and out easily!

It has been a while. Haha. Well I guess I'll just use a bit more force but the funny thing is the way it just abruptly stops like it's being blocked. It doesn't grind like its in a bind.

That is strange... I would say take a vice to it but honestly it shouldn't use THAT much force to unscrew it.

Yeah, it's not coming off. It unscrews just fine for about one full turn then stops like it hit a brick wall. Weird.

Could be crossthreaded in or the threads are damaged from being improperly installed. If you have a strap wrench I suggest using this over a vice. If you don't PM me and I'll see what I can do to help
