Cans

which can allows for the highest volume/lowest pressure combo? I know it's probably tied up between the NDZ ULP, Stock SFT and NDZ LP cans, just wondering which

The ULP cans allow the highest volume out of those three for sure, possibly out of all cans.

I picked up a ND private label body for my project. So my bolt setup is NDZ ULP can, Delrin sleeve, Eigenbolt with Rhino spring(when they arrive), and NDZ adjustable bolt guide. I'm excited.

the highest volume can would be a modified stock sft can. It has no HE surface and the same side cut outs as the ulp can.

You mill out the wall of the can to make it look like the ulp, but like ccluff said its only one piece and has no he surface....allowing for the most volume.

Yeah dont cut into the oring glands and leave enough material to keep it structurally sound. And unless your running a closed body shocker dont do it.

nope, you remove the 2nd outer oring groove as well. on a closed body shocker that oring is not needed. the front and back of the modified sft can should look like the front of a luxe ulp can.

I'll post pics of mine when I get my camera.

What is the wall thickness on the oring groove, seems like that would give you a weak point.

Just wondering, how much of a difference would you notice between removing the 2nd oring groove or not removing it?

I did the math on a long car ride home last night, just to take my mind off things, its not very much. I would just be nervous every time you slide it in and out of the body, but ive never had one so maybe im way off
