Hello everybody, i recently bought a slightly used A5 R/T. Everything works fine( O- rings, spring, bolt) but at the crono i just cant exceed the 235-240 fps no matter how i unscrew the FVA. Any ideas?
changed the rear spring and my regulator is a guerrila myth, i think it is high output. Nothing. Should i polish the internals?(dont think i would achieve 290 fps with this)
Most ga tanks come with mid pressure springs installed...that is more than likely the problem. You can polish the internals...you will see a bit of a fps increase but not much. If anything it is to get the overspray out of the inside of your marker.
All that is wrong is your power tube is clogged. Once that happens, nothing you do past that will increase velocity...
There is a video online that shows how to clean it, oil it, and you probably need a new o-ring inside (the one at 1:35) it as well. Easy fix, and pretty common on markers that have sat around a while...
