fat kid paintball gear
Hey Everyone!
So I am just recently started getting into paintball, I was looking to get a vest to hold some pods and a tank, the issue I am a big guy. Usually wearing 3x or 4x shirt. Anyone have any recommendations? Or any bigger guys have anything that has worked for them

i'm about the same size, i wear valken's fate pants and empire contact jerseys... where are you planning on playing? speedball or woods? also as far as a harnes goes i've been using both NXE and Valken harnesses with great success

i buy just about all my gear except markers and parts from ansgear.com that said I still say go with the valken pants but buy a set of kneepads such as the nxe pads (priced cheap but durable) and then whatever kind of long sleeved camo shirt you want.. i haven't had any experiance with vests, only traditional harnesses, however if you buy a harness that will hold a tank, typically it will also have a place for suspenders... i know it sounds a little dorky but it works

I use suspenders on my pants! they are XXL and I lost a little weight and all they do is fall off. Suspenders work great and there are a lot of clothes out their for us big guys. Have you considered looking on here to see if you could snag some used gear or do you want new?

Guy that owns my team is about 5'5, and way more than 400lbs. he uses a NXE pack, and just wears his pants under his ***/gut. it's kinda disturbing

I have been looking at some of the used gear. New or used doesn't matter. Just mainly wanted to try and get some feedback from some bigger guys on what might have been working for them

Go with valken as they make stuff designed for big guys and any podpack will work with a belt extender. That's what I use ....

thanks.
I have always been a big guy, but its not like i sit on the couch all day. I used to play football and even then was still a big kid. I work as an EMT and spend all day on my feet lifting people carrying people up and down stairs. Not that i really feel I need to defend myself to anyone on here. As long as I can wake up and look at myself in the mirror because I know I am a good dude, i could care less what anyone thinks of me.
