SP 1 not firing
So I took the sp 1 out for a test run in the back yard before the next game comes up. I ran some pb's thorugh it and it was firing but the trigger was sticking. Took off the trigger assembly and puled the trigger out and cleaned it and placed it back into the marker.
Now I can not get it to do anything at all. The trigger will pull and has a new battery in it and lights up. Put air in it and nothing happens. it airs up just when pull the trigger nothing.
Can anyone give me ideas what to look for? Before I throw it in the trash.LOL

after messing with the trigger ensure that it is engaging the microswitch located on the board. Next if your Sp1 has breakbeam eyes, turn them off and attempt to fire the marker. With the marker degassed and a FRESH battery installed, fire the marker (eyes off if you have) and listen if the trigger pull engages the solenoid. You should be able to hear both the microswitch click and the solenoid ping for a trigger pull depending on the mode your marker is set in. Next question: how long have you had the marker? Is it a stock SP1 with an oldschool ion board in it. Check the grips to see if the screws are in too far and are damageing/grounding out the board. If the board is having issues fireing as well as staying ON then the capacitor may be out on it, as I have found out with mine recently.

Sp1s do not have ion boards..
9/10 times a brand name brand new battery will do the trick.. sp1s are finiky to say the least when it comes to a power source.. even a new battery can sometimes be just dead enough that it doesn't want to function properly.
Make sure your power button is properly installed when you put the grip frame back on ,one side is slightly angled .. that should be pointing up.
Sometimes you will need to go through several batteries.
Grip screws can be over tightened enough to make the trigger stick funny (usually the top screw only)
Make sure you did not over lube the bolt and orings
Make sure you didn't pinch or knick an boring causing the bolt to stick.
Depending on the board check the dwell..set up for 02/GPA sect.
If you are running remote line, check to make sure air is actually turned on at the tank and the slide check..
Make sure you are not pulling the trigger when powering the marker p,doing thus enters the markers settings mode..
Check to make sure battery wires were placed through the right channel in the grip and not blocking the trigger pull, check for pinched wire..
Remove grip frame completely ,install battery and power marker on pressing the noids switch with your finger and check to make sure you hear noid and trigger functioning the way they should..

Thanks for the advise. I did do the new battery first. I know when I remove the trigger or grip frme and have it seperate from the marker. If I push the trigger button nothing happens with the trigger removed from the frame. Othr words just the button on the board, no clicking comes out of it. I know when I air it up I get the air going in, so remote line is good and air to the marker is good also.
I will give it another shot, no pun intended there, later on tonight or tomorrow once the graduation stuff for the daughter gets done.

Check velocity also.. turn it down all the way ,slowly turn it up little by little testing shots every time.. sometimes it can be set way to high or to low.

Well did a test last night with the marker. Disconnected the battery like the manual says. I tried to see if when I connect battery and hold the trigger as it says and see if you get the modes for firing on the stock board. Nothing happens at all and I did a little asjustment on the trigger to see if that could be an issue. But still nothing. Just the light comes on and el zippo.
Board bad? Capacitor if bad cause this?

Nope. No noise when I take the grip frame off and just push the trigger switch. No clicks or any noise
