SUN OCT 13th 2013 @ OXCC The Heroes Present: THE DISTRICT



TIME IS EVERYTHING.....
his game will feature a NEW system Based on TIME.
The GOAL is to accumulate the Most TIME to win the game.
Here is how your Accumulate TIME:
#1-The 2 sides will battle for possession time for the 1 (and only) Flag all day during the game. Time will be tracked by REFs at the flag station in hours/min/secs.

#2-Missions will work like this:Each mission will have a Mission Clock that Counts down from the 1:00:00 mark (1 hr). (if) the Mission is completed by a side, the REMAINING TIME left on the clock will be awarded to the side completing the mission.

(example-mission starts 10:00am, and is completed at 10:30am=30min will be given to the side completing the mission.
Next mission starts 11:00am, and is completed by the same side at 11:30am. 30min (mission 1) + 30min (mission2) = 1hr MISSION TIME for that side.

The Mission clock times, at the end of the game will be ADDED to your FLAG TIME
(possession time your side has) to make your TOTAL OVER ALL TIME.

Side with the Highest OVER ALL TIME....WINs

*3rd entity (Nigerians) will insert from their HQ only. Once they are eliminated, they must return to their HQ,
And will not be allowed to insert until the next 30min mark. Nigerians can “shutdown” flag possession by turning of the district flag, stopping the accumulation of “flag time”. Nigerians cannot move, or use the “objective props”, but may guard them, and stop YOU from obtaining them. 3rd Entity Tank must also abide by the 30 min insertion window.

a few things we are Thinking about for the game, post your thoughts.....:


1-In an effort to changes things up. We are considering giving ALL MISSIONS
for the day to the commanding role players..
(mission start time will kept secret until time of mission comes)...
the night before the game. To allow for SOME questions and planning but still has an element of surprise.
Role players will have all the mission intel, and during the day GAME HQ will call to the RP REF to activate that
mission at that mission time.

2-Law MISSIONS: Since the system is based on TIME and not POINTS.
one idea is to have 2-4 law missions to destroy X targets with X amount of nerfs (more than 1)
The reward for these NERFINGS, would be a LOSS of TIME for the other team
(example-10min loss)..........

3-Role Players (1 per side) will be provided a ROLE PLAYER REF for the game.
This ref will be with the Role player for the duration of the game, and will provide MISSION INTEL to the Role player at MISSION start Times. When/IF the role player is SHOT, The MISSION PROP that ONLY THE ROLE PLAYER can carry, will DROP and the ROLE PLAYER REF will stay with the PROP until the Role player returns from insertion. This Protects the PROP from being MOVED or DAMAGED, and allows the Role player to Return to the location of said prop. This will only apply to Mission props that only the role player MUST handle (noted in the mission details)

1 and 3 I like....I've never used a launcher yet so I don't want to put input on something I have no idea about...sounds like a cool idea though...I personally like the idea of having the missions before hand to try to have some kind of strategy...maybe hold a few back until game day or something for surprise...and having a ref for the role player will take out alot of confusion more than likely, just as long as it doesn't take away from the overall game reffing

The idea is to assign 1 ref to each role player, who's role is to keep mission time, and watch the ROLE PLAYER ONLY...he will not call out players unless the ROLE PLAYER calls for a paint check...

The TIME KEEPER REFS (2-1per side) will STAY at the flag station (or safest area close) With a shield for protection...they will be tracking and recording POSSESSION TIME for the Sides.....

The FIELD REFS will be on the field for CALLs, paint checks, and bunker clearing when needed...THEY WILL NOT have mission intel, and will NOT know the mission details...They are ONLY there for calls so players MUST stay in contact with ROLE PLAYING COMMANDERS to keep up with current mission details and times.......


Q? WE KNOW OXCC HAS MEDICAL STATIONS IN THEIR GAMES, ITS SOMETHING WE HAVEN'T DONE YET....WOULD YOU LIKE THEM IMPLEMENTED IN TO THIS GAME?

HOW DO YOU FEEL?

How about only giving them "some" of the missions? It would more truly reflect the "fog of war" and how things change on the ground as a battle develops.

It also leaves the producer the ability to "change it up" with respect to the missions that haven't been released. IE- given the relative field positions of the sides it might make sense to release a mission in the middle of where they both are at that time vs. one that is way behind enemy lines

well the idea would be, to give the mission intel to them the night b4, the mission LOCATION, and START TIME will be kept secret until mission time
