So I am playing in a hopefully snowy scenario game in late Feb, Specifically THE THING III: The Isle of Man. I am concerned because of the style of game this is, that my children are going to stay on the field longer then they should. I am good for keeping them warm, but I was thinking about keeping them dry and I thought Tyvek coveralls. I know I have seen a few rec players using them and was wondering if anyone else has used them for paintball? Also I have seen they tear kind of easy so I was wondering if adding white duck tape to seat, elbows and knees might help?

I believe they do not breath well at all so my concern would be sweating a lot and then getting seriously cold super fast.

My advise would be to properly layer with a base layer thermal underwear, a middle weight fleece type sweater, and then a LIGHT weight wind/water resistant top layer that breaths. A cheap way to go about doing this would be to go to your local volunteers/thrift clothing store.. I've found some pretty sweet clothes and it never costs much.. plus when its for paintball you can buy the stuff with stains and not worry about it.

My other suggestion would be a tinted lens if there's gonna be snow.. unless you're using a JT mask- then avoid tinted lenses as JT lenses do NOT block UV light.
