Well let me put it this way since the other thread is "too long". There has been a leaked photo of a prototype and even a video with said marker. If that isn't enough I would think that the fact that PE has been producing Egos since late 04 would be. Just give it time and we should all know more once PE releases an official teaser pic. Until then be happy about what is out now. I've never shot an Ego11, but the 11 with the D.A.R.T looks to be a very good option. Used 11's can be found for as cheap as 650 to around 800. Bottom line is don't worry about the "latest and greatest" until it's released.
EDIT:I think PE moving away from annual releases is driving some people crazy, but why not wait until they release something significantly different unlike the DM13 which is almost identical to its predacessor.. In all honesty I still shoot a 06 Dark Ego ( my first and only Ego so far.) which shoots so nice I can't justify selling it for newer Ego! Don't get me wrong I'd love to have a new Ego11 with a D.A.R.T. Kit, but I can't justify spending that kind of money when I only spend around 2500 on my vehicles.. I mostly play rec and occasionally tourneys.

It's a un milled ego11....Probly used for dart kit testing.. Maybe *shrug* or even testing prototype inners other than the dart.. |

Yes...there will be a new Ego. Doubt PE plans to retire after the Ego11/Ego-S
No...it will not be called the Ego13
No...none of us have any idea when its coming out. And if there is anyone that does have FACTUAL information they aren't going to tell you anything.
So the constant asking is pointless. Just wait for some release info

The Ego that Jack was seen playing with that started the other "Too Long Thread" was an unmilled EGO S. Great to use when you want to shoot fast and have absolutely zero kick.
