I am looking for a lighting solution for my fields, more specifically, an economical solution.
My poles are spaced about 50', the field is 140x200.
I was thinking about putting two 500 watt halogen floodlights up on each pole (16' high) for a total of 28 lights on the field. I am wondering if you guys think this will be ample for safe night play. More so I am interested in learning what style/power lights you use on your outdoor fields.
I am thinking about going with the 500 watt version of this:
The same style fixture is available in 1000 watt lights here:
My last interest, is that running them does not break the bank. I am looking to run them on average about 20 hours a month.
Thanks for your input!
