It is wallmart paint...
Needless to say I can almost ensure you it has been there for a long time... sadly you can not inspect them... I would not get them... unless you were messing around with a cheap gun.

If you have sports authority near you, you can get draxxus midnight for $25/case... supposed to be a lot better.
just grabbed a couple cases. make sure after you pay for it (they don't like if you do it before) you open the cases in front of them and inspect bags... out of the 8 bags I had 1 with a break. Just grabbed another case till and got a good bag from that, they were cool with it.

I have a case for it for testing guns and I must say it's pretty round and doesn't hurt that bad. Obviously it's not 4 star or Evil, but it's not super painful.
The only thing I've found is some of them have paint "Zits" for lack of a better term. I'll try and get pictures.

I missed it, that's a great deal on Draxxus though. And by zits do you mean like how the paint gets a little oblong when a paintball gets wet?

Had I meant oblong I would have said oblong. When I say zits, I mean like a full on paintball pimple.

I can vouch for midnight as I've used it for about a year. The shell is on the harder side, but it shoots very straight and its pretty decent on the chrono.
Might want to check out Academy too. They have some orange colored box draxxus that they are selling for $20 right now. Originally $40 and shoots as good as midnight when I played with it a few weeks ago. Price was so good I ended up buying 5 cases yesterday.

Stinger is good mess around paint. I use it for rec strickly. Just underbore it and it shoots fine. Breaks good. Also, I havn't had a problem inspecting paint in the store infront of employees. I've only been asked what I was doing once from an older gentleman. He said just dont steal it lol. Overall a 3.5/5 from me. It has bright-ish fill. Breaks, Not really any deformations, no solid-paint on one side of the shell. And for 25-35 bucks yearround.. cant beat it by much.
