Lafayette area activity?
Been out of paintball for some time now. would really like to start playing again but recball really isnt for me, to slow. played regional and some psp events in the past. not looking to join any teams or commit to anything like that but looking to play some competitive pb. was wondering how active practices, scrimmages, pick-up games are in the lafayette area?

I'm in the same boat. Relocated here and trying to find a good place to play.
APC looks very promising, but not much going on Sunday mornings which is my best time to play.

Acadiana paintball is having their first team practice this Sunday. Sounds like a pretty good crowd. I'm going to try and make it out

Hey man welcome back to lafayette paintball!!! anywho. Two main paintball places now. Levena and APC. Personally I prefer Levena. Both fields have airball and proshops as well as several different field choices so check both of them out and get yourself back in the game !! Here's the links to relevant pages

Acadiana is the newer of the fields and is building a customer base.
Levena already has a customer base and looks like 2 teams are already based out of there.
So the right now answer is probably Levena, but APC is making the right steps to solid facilities.

Im not saying Levena is a bad place to play, but if your are gonna have an opinion on a field .. play there first. Ive played at Levena and Acadiana both 4-5 times, Levena has a really nice scenario set-up, the air ball field is ok .. could be kept a little better, Acadiana is more of a Speedball oriented place, they have a woods ball course as well, if thats what your in to. Dosen't matter where you play .. as long as the paintball community grows and everyone in it works together to keep it that way.

come out to levena on jan 19 or 27.
the 19th will have part of the SHK crew running games
the 27th we will have our Mandatory SHK practice which will have our entire roster out and we will be running full scale xball matches.
i have not been to APC but levena has a large group of airball players on sat and sundays. sunday morning is prolly the better day. We have sanctioned SHK practices on saturdays but you will have to keep up with the Levena threads or facebook to know when they are or follow us on facebook
