Laser sight for x7 Phenom

I love my x7 phenom and wanted to know what is the best laser sight scope. I really can't find one that look good and works well with it. I was wanting to see if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.

Do you mean a laser sight or a red dot scope?

For the former I recommend a Barska GLX 5mw and for the latter I recommend a UAG New Generation Tactical Compact Open Reflex Sight.

Laser pointers and Scopes are purely cosmetic and wont really do anything for you. Just buy something cheap off eBay that looks good.

I am new to red dot sights and laser sights. If I'm correct, red dot sights don't really display a red laser it's just inside the lens. I was looking at the BSA-30 RedDot and possible going with UTG Compact Tactical Green Laser with Tactical Ring.

I mean you could say that they don't work but its all about the looks. Making it look nice.

Get whatever you want. Personally I think the LETS "scopes" look best.

The reason they dont work is because of the inaccuracies of the paintball in flight. You can sight them in, but even at 50 feet they are still pretty inaccurate. First Strikes are really the only paintball that truly will work with a sight.

Just because a paintball doesn't always fly dead straight, doesn't mean you shouldn't aim. I love playing with a red dot.

Check out this thread to see the difference between a "scope", and a red-dot sight.

Look close at my avitar. That is a BSA30 red dot on a Phenom.

I have a laser on one of my "real steel" handguns. It is almost useless in sunlight. Might be good for a long shot in low light. I would not recommend it for a paintball marker.

I didnt say you shouldnt aim but the practicality isnt there. Shooting a paintball gun is more like shooting a shotgun, a ball flying is very unlikely to hit in the same area. Youre better off with your iron sights.

Chickin, lets agree to disagree. I sight in my red dot at 100' and except for the occasional "flyer" I can put ball after ball in a 2' circle. At 50' with decent paint, I'll hit a paper plate 9 out of 10 times! Red dots are made for short range sighting and I agree with your shotgun analogy. Do you know the military will use a red dot on a tactical shotgun. If you are going to aim, you may as well use the sights that give you the fastest target acquisition, and if you know how to properly use it, that is a red dot. It is much faster than standard or even ghost ring sights.
