Shocker Virtue Board
So I've got a Virtue Board in my NXT that I just picked up, and I was setting things up on it and running into some issues. When I reset my board back to stock, most of the values are incorrect for what they should be. For instance, my Dwell resets to 5, and my ABS to 1. According to the redefined manual, it should reset to 12 and 10 respectively. Also, all of the led colors are different than what the manual lists them as. Is my LED going bad, or is there a short?

And yes I am in the correct settings regardless of color as I just counted through the settings rather than referring to color. It is also very inconsistent over the Chrono...is this a Dwell/ABS issue? Should I run my Dwell higher than 12 and my ABS higher than 10? It has a fresh battery and was just cleaned, oring'd, and lubed properly. I also went through the regulator and cleaned that out. It is a 360 reg operating around 190 psi via my Ashcroft pressure tester. I see speeds from 260's to 330's. I am shooting reballs inside as it is damn cold here in MN.

It's probably not a redefined board. With the redefined code purple should be the first color it stops on after the startup rainbow. Look at the older virtue manual.

Alright that's what I was wondering, but I honestly haven't been able to find a manual for the older code. And yes it stops on Blue...Virtue still flash these for redefined code I'm guessing?

Well I upped the dwell and abs just a bit higher than stock to 14 and 12. I'm thinking my Orings will require some break in still, but I'm at about 260-270 with my HPR set at about 155 psi. Thanks again for your help Jim and consider the issue solved!
One final question...anyone use a metal polish method ever to break their new Orings in? I've done it with any axe I've ever tuned for someone. Anyone see any issues with doing it in a Shocker?

Thats I would say is overkill for a shocker lol. I would hand fit all your dynamic orings like explained in the V2 spring mod thread under oring tollerances

Lol...I was thinking the same, but it was a quick fix for my instant gratification need of knowing it worked :-) I'll check that out. I'm waiting on my EigenBolt, so maybe I won't even bother with it yet. Thanks again!

Get a Rotor, Spire, or Z2 Prophecy.
Your gun should be able to hit over 20 BPS set right. If you run uncapped ramping with a slower hopper, it's not very impressive. Spend the extra cash on a premium hopper first. Hoppers and tanks improve all your guns.
