Valken Infinity Paint.
Do not buy this stuff. I repeat do not buy this crap. It is horrible. Cant go farther than 4 feet without breaking 75% of the time. And that was at 203-240 fps. Worst stuff ever.
Although it is very good for barrel whipping although it may chop sometimes
Just thought I would share this. And I used a LVL 10 tuned AGD automag and an Etek 2 with hush bolt and eyes. Still chopped. I hope I saved a few players from a bad day of play.

I've personally shot about 50 cases & have never had any problems with it. The only time I've ever had any to break in the gun was when it was 20 degrees or less outside, and that wasn't many.

all paints run the possibility of being great or being horrible.
it's all about the care that is taken from the time it leaves the warehouse
most of the time it depends on how the field treats the paint.
sometimes they order the paint way too early, and if they do not have temp controlled room that they store it in, you are going to have issues.
that doesnt mean that issues don't start before that.
Most paintballs are made in North America, but some are made over seas.
The best way to make sure that you get the best paint is to ask what is the freshest. I personally like Draxxus paint. I have never had a bad case of their paint. and I have purchased it at 7 different shops and fields through the last 10 years.

THIS ^^
But I must say I too have had problems with the Valken Infinity line. The higher grade is awesome but multiple fields use it around CO here and it has always given friends and I problems.

I have used it multiple times in warm temp (around 86) and last time was low (around 38). This is he yellow paint that costs around $35 where I bought it. I have bought it from multiple places and multiple times. Each time hoping I would have a better experience with it. I never have. This stuff is crap and everytime I buy it whether it is for testing or for a game it goes bad. I guess I will just stick with RPS for now. The paint could not have been bad from all of the places I have ordered it from and if it is then a lot of companies need to step up their game.

How would you not chop? I chopped at 203 fps with a hush bolt.

my bad. Barrel breaks by far. I think I said bove but I was to lazy to say it again. The paint was inaccurate the few times it left the barrel and would often break under a foot past the barrel.

This is the field paint at my home field, so Ive shot prolly 25 cases of it. Generally, for the price I've been pretty satisfied.
Once, however, I got a case that was awful. The worst case of paint I've ever seen, including wal-mart and Dicks sporting goods paint. Every single ball was dimpled reeeeally bad. Some of them even looked square. My rotor had such a hard time feeding it I just threw it all away.
Cockerpunk had a video with SticktoDrum where they were talking about how paintball players need to buy better paint, and I agree. It's definitely worth an extra $15. Too many players think forking out $150 for a barrel kit will help them more than just buying better pant, and they're wrong.

Just thinking about Infinity gives me chills. While the Infinity the field I work shot as well as any other field grade we had up until that point fill was a pain to remove if allowed to dry. In fact its been over a year since we had any at the field and I can still find bunkers with patches of infinity fill on some of our woodsball bunkers. If allowed to dry inside of our rental tippmanns it lead to additional stress in the guns and a lot of broken sear pins. I can say without a doubt I spent at least five times as much time fixing rental guns when we had infinity then with any other paint. All that said I love the paint that Valken brands as a "Valken" paint and is my overall favorite paint manufacturer.
edit: It appears now that Valken now has Infinity with Valken on the box.

I have used infinity twice and fate once. No complaints on either. I think that the orange fill is easier to see once it breaks

What temperature was it when you were shooting it and what bore size? It is not a "great cold weather paint" Its a perfect and above paint.
