So I received 2 cases of paint from a friend, Premium and all stars, and he said they were from when he used to play, which was about 4 years ago. Now in my head, I'm saying "this paint is all crap and probably broken." I open both the boxes up and find that aside from the bag being a tad oily, it was okay and no broken paint inside.

Curiosity hits, and I'm thinking to myself if I can actually put this 4 year old paint through my guns. So I take out my T2 and my Ego x today, and put about a pod of each paint through the guns, and to my dismay, they shot fine and I had no breaks whatsoever!

I guess I just wanted to share that will all of you guys, and ask, what gives? All these years playing paintball, I always thought that old paint was bad, and 4 year old paint would be just nasty. Yet it still shot great and straight.

Wow!!! My paints done in like 4 months if its not in my basement or something!!

I had some paint sitting in pods for about 5 years...the paint became super dimpled and very oily...i cleaned some off and shot it...and it actually shot pretty good except for the fact that it left my gun and hopper a little oily haha

Yeah I mean the balls weren't even that dimpled except for a select few. I don't know if this is just me though and what I was shooting at, but I found that the paintballs didn't break as much as I thought it should have. Maybe that is a result of them being old?

We did that years ago with super old marbs, 4+ years old. Shot straight but hurt so much they were looking for hot guns on the field. I'd be careful with it on he field.
