Chest-mounted gopro?
Haha thanks. And yeah its a chest mount. Its a bit more shaky than a helmet mount.

Look around on new schoolers. You can probably find an HD hero 2 for cheap now that the new model is out.

Yeah?
Interesting music to say the least.
I think it's called "Free Jazz" or something.

We need to get more people in on this thread so we can make a V3 before we hit another four year mark, haha.

This will be my first season in a long time skiing. I skied from age 4 to 10, but switched to snowboarding. In 2008 I went to Jackson Hole and did back country all week because we got there the day after the resort closed. It hit me that I really needed to switch. I just got a job teaching super young kids at a local mountain so i'm switching back.

As I am switching back I am buying new gear, but I have to do it for cheap as it is my last semester in college.

Picked these up at a local shop used. They were the most comfy boot I slipped on that day so I went with them. Not a big fan of weird patterns and colors, but they are growing on me.

now I need skis, so i think i'm heading up north of me for a craigslist special. K2 enemies with bindings for $100. As i'm instructing kids I want a good all mountain ski with twin tips for going backwards and watching the little ones. I also have to not mind if they get trashed. I think these fit the bill.

I've got a pair of those, great boots.

Just moved to Aspen, first day on snow at snowmass yesterday and a light dusting overnight...can't wait for it to actually start snowing.

Bobman7, you moved to Aspen? I remember you being in the AKA forums a lot, or maybe automags or cockers, can't remember. Congrats on making it out here! Snow is lacking, weather is warm, but the man-made hero snow is absolutely amazing! Here's some pics from my weekend:

Nasty new belt from Ross for $8.59:

All weekend I just heard people ***** and moan about how terrible it is that we don't have any snow. It's December bubs, get used to it. East coast has been used to no natural snow for years so their snowmaking equipment is top notch. It will be interesting to see how quickly these CO and/or western resorts deal with the lack of natural snow, but so far they are behind the ball!

You should know those are some of the most sought after boots right now on the market. I have a pair of Full Tilts also (actually a few), I have skied in those Morrison's and they are the s***! But honestly, all Full Tilt stuff is awesome. Plus the throwback to Raichle from back in the day is just so sick. The color on the Seth's leave a lot to be desired, I agree, but the Full Tilt boot design is top notch. I am a ski racer at heart, and the Full Tilt's give you every bit of support and flex from a quality (albeit softer) race boot but they are so f'ing comfortable it is insane! I have a pair of Full Tilt Hot Doggers with a stiffer shin and they are absolutely perfect, you definitely picked up a good boot regardless of color. And hey, that's why there is PlastiDip!
