I've seen a lot of cool, older guns in here but not much other gear. I thought I'd start it off with some of the masks I have.
A friend just listed his clear JT Proshield on eBay so I figured I'd dig mine out and give you guys a bit of the history. These masks were made by JT for the second ESPN series filmed on the infamous "door field." I believe it came out in 1996.
John Gregory (the owner of JT) wanted to make masks for television where you could see the player's face, even though most pro players at the time didn't actually wear facemasks. The masks were too brittle for production and very few have survived until today.
It was with some other "clear" masks so I went ahead and took pics of all of them together. The JT Proshield is in the middle. I got mine NIB from a friend on the Saberwolves (the best woodsball team ever to come out of Tennessee) who got a couple straight from Dave Youngblood back when Dave was stil playing and sponsored by JT. I played my first professional tournament in it and I'm glad I didn't cut it up like a lot of other people did back then.
And bonus pics of me wearing the Proshield in an old JT jersey.
EDIT: Here's an old pic from the Smart Parts catalog of me wearing my clear Proteus goggles at World Cup in 2001. I don't have them anymore though.
