Event #2 is a go for November 18th.
Open: (Only 1 pro player allowed per roster)
Entry is $150 max roster of 4
mechanical only with shake and bake hoppers (pumps are allowed)
$50 from each entry goes to a pot and 1st place takes all.
Beginner: (must be a beginner and have only played a max of 2 regular tournaments outside of the DHMPS)
Rental markers only which are provided by Diamond Hill Paintball
Entry is $100 for the team max roster of 4: includes marker and air.
1st place: 12 entry/air passes to Diamond Hill Paintball
Rules are as follows:
*3-man teams with up to 4 on the roster
*Beginner division: Rental markers and standard non-electric hoppers.
*Open division: Any mechanical marker (pumps included) and standard non-electric hoppers
*Beginner Format: Race-to-2 format with back to back points with ~2min breaks between points and matches will be 5 minutes long.
*Open Format: Race-to-3 format with back to back points with ~2min breaks between points and matches will be 8 minutes long.
*Tie-breaker: if needed will be a 1 vs. 1 elimination.
*Penalties will be basic. Playing on with an obvious hit and wiping will constitute that player being pulled. We will pull extra players if the player in question acts unsportsman-like, such as swearing or being overly aggressive (determined by the ref).
*Dirty hangs will still be counted if there is another live player on that team otherwise the point will be a draw.
*If the player with the flag is shot he becomes the flag station and is a dead player, as such will place his/her marker on the ground.
