new member posting some of my rides
figured I would post my current rides because I am proud of them and like to show people my collection
2009 challenger srt 8 with dhm exhaust cutouts
09 spirit industries kit car(tbucket)
and 09 corvette
I drive a big rig for a living so I really dont get to see them much but its worth it for the 4 days a month I am home
(not a PB gun but I bought a yugo sks the other day)

So, driving 3k miles a month, how much do you profit? If you can say.. I know if you only drive a thousand or so it's tough to really make any money.
I would say, if you can afford an SRT8 why not just save for a few months and spend the cash on a nicer sports car for a couple ground you can drive while your home and save like crazy for a while after that?
Nice cars though. Not a big fan of kit cars but nice for sure.
Edit: Also, how much were those cutouts? Why not just put an actual aftermarket exhaust on there for as much?

I payed about 600 for the dhm cutouts installed
I bought the srt8 to one up my brother thats got a 2010 rt(he said if I found one I should buy it)
truck driving pays anywhere from 31 to about 45 cents a mile
the reason for dhm cutouts is I live behind a police station and gotta be quiet but I also wanted my exhaust to be adjustable in loudness and tone

yes well the c5 used to be thats how I ended up with the challenger
since I am a trucker I found a vette at a dealer locally and figured it was a good price and gonna be a DD so I got home around 7 pm and bought it.
the next day I went back on the road
when I got home 2 weeks later I realized the carfax was wrong because the door was many shades off and the car had been repainted in spots...
so the dealer cut me a deal on the challenger instead of a refund.
the hot rod I picked up in st peters mo using craigslist I ended up paying something like 12 grand for it. but it was built in 2009 and had something like 1200 miles on it.
the colorado is my beater truck and since I worked for coca cola and lived 50 miles away the challenger was costing me 100+ a week just to drive.
I wish I could show my parents cars but that would be a trailblazer and a explorer sport trac and recently he sold his chopper
heres a pic of some of the old rides( the custom bike is my fathers, the black one is my mothers and the orange ones mine)
we decided to all sell them because its too dangerous
maybe once I sell the tbucket or challenger I can get me a luxe :-)

So you make anywhere between $4k and $5k a month, and blow it all on cars that you rarely get to use? Sounds wise. Nice cars though.

actually my dodge has ran great though it has 10k miles on it
last weekend the engine light came on havent had a chance to get it checked out :-(

didnt say I was wise lol, I just love cars man its a hobby
trust me I have thought many times about trading in my cars for something practical like a ford focus (turbo) and buying a house which is probably what I will do soon
