The viewers aren't as deluded as they once were. They realized years ago that it's all fake but continue to watch.
I suppose you could compare it to a reality show. Everyone knows reality shows are not in fact "real" but they watch anyway.

which is the dumbest reason why to watch that show in the firs place. Especially when they have bad actors. Wrestlers will go down as the worst actors in history. I love the south park episode where they diss the **** out of the WWE
