SL-68 ll shooting without pulling the trigger
My SL-68 keeps shooting every time I pump it, even though I'm not pulling the trigger. It's fairly new (only been used a couple of times). I'm thinking there might be something stuck internally since it has the autotrigger. Anyone else had this problem and could tell me what to look for?

Don't know much about it, but I assume you have read the manual correct?

Had that trouble with my Trracer for a little while. I took off the pistol grip frame and replaced it, don't know if that would work for you but you should try

You can't remove the frame on an SL-68; it's cast in one piece with the body.
The first thing I'd do is pull the internals and make sure there's not a piece of crud or something stuck to the sear that might be catching on the upper portion of the trigger. Same goes for the trigger itself- it would be a pain to remove it but you should be able to clean the top of it a bit with a paper towel and a pencil or something. Finally, check and make sure the sear spring isn't broken and that the sear can move up and down properly in the hammer (it won't be able to move far, but it should at least be able to hang onto the hammer when needed).

Keep us posted. I've owned mine for two years now and have never come across this issue.

Keep the pump hand strong

It could be that your barrel is not properly seated into the receiver, which would allow your internals to ride too far forward. Try loosening that front screw, shoving the barrel into the gun and tightening (but not too much!).

Thanks. I'll try to look at it tomorrow and see if I can fix it. I'll post it if I do

Let us know either way! The SL2 is the gun I started with, it stands as one of my favorites.
