If you're looking to get one, just call up Porter at August Industries, tell him your requirements, and he'll put together a system for you and give you a price.

It always amazes me how other fields do with the air consumption and what they have to refill their bulk tanks. We have a diesel Mako about 9CFM auto drains, and a gas Bauer about 9CFM manual drains to refill our tanks. We have 6-6000PSI, 7-4500PSI, and then 7-3600PSI bulk tanks.

I have the 6000 and the 4500 linked together, but we can have them filled to 4500 fully.. and after about 100 people using air with at least half rentals on 48x3000 tanks we see a noticeable consumption of air without the compressor(s) running.

So long story short, we have PLENTY of storage... but I would not skimp on having a good sized compressor from the start with a minimum of 8-9CFM to start. I picked up these tanks from online business's selling out.

Why pay new when you can get used?
