Getting back into paintball
So I've been out the game for a long time since I joined the military I havent had much time. I'm looking to get back into paintball once I get home for the stan. Any suggestions as to what gun/gear I should get. I am looking at used PE Geos or Egos, maybe a luxe or a G6R. Any an all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat, I just got back into it after a 5yr absence. I'm old school so I went back to an Eblade'd autococker. Nothing's really advanced marker wise in the last 8-9yrs, they've just gotten smaller and lighter. A SFT shocker is just as relevant today as back in 03'

I had an Ego 11 but it was just too loud for my taste, it made communication on the field challenging also. My friend let me use his DM 9 and 10 which are great guns, so I ended up selling my EGO 11 and purchased a DM 13 which is very smooth and shoots great. I personally haven't shot a Geo but several guys I play with love them. I have shot a 2011 G6R which was very smooth and no where near as loud as a Ego 11 so if you decide you want a poppit the G6R might be the better choice.

Buy an older high end like an Ego 06 even a used axe.
Buy a used rotor and tank, and a new mask.
You'll be golden for the next 15 years of your paintball life.

I agree completely. There's is very little if anything a new marker can do that an 04 Viking with a new board can't do...except be smaller and lighter.

Not exactly true. Today's markers won't make you a better player than any of the old markers, that much is true, but marker technology has definitely advanced from the days of the E-blade or even the old Shockers

Great find protos are overlooked way to much for the price performance value
I recently got back into it after a 7 year absence?
And never had a decent gun I used to play with some entry wgp gun worr machine...
On here I bought a pe ego 6 for under 300 a tank for 65 (traded in my old stealie) and a reloaded b2 for 60 and I was ready to go
Found a 2010 proto pmr for my god on here do 200 shipped a sly profit in pink and a pink halo v35 for like 45 dollars ready to go
