Yeah, but your not underboring .678...Best you could do is .679 and think you still shoot .684.

Just run a Bigger bore. Stock barrel, or get a barrel kit. .678 is so small. Around here in Colorado, we don't see paint that small till the dead of winter. At that point boring, is more of a pita than anything.

Take the barrel off, put a ball in the chamber, see if it rolls out the front, if it doesnt push it through with your finger, should have resistance. Also you dont need a barrel to shoot a gun. Take the barrel off and see if the issue persists. Another detent test is have a hopper like the halo on your gun, shoot your gun once without the barrel, if the paint gets pushed past the detents you will have a nice flow of paint coming out of the front of your marker.

I had to bring the torque down a little on my Rotor, was pushing two balls into the chamber when I was using some small paint and the detents were worn down.

Actually, with a Freak he could drop down to a .677 or a .675 if he wants to buy the new inserts.

Changed the insert to .084 and was less but then stopped shooing, I took off the rotor and there was paint broken and lodged in the feedneck and wouldnt feed. I cleaned that out and it kept doing it. It cut down after I opened it up to clean out but I dont know what caused the problem. Was it the bolt and sping, the dwell, or the barrel and like the paint backed up into the gun
This sounds alot like the problem I had when I got the boss bolt and installed it. It shot nice at first then it started doing exactly what you described. I kept trying to fix it and it was still shredding paint and then just stopped shooting. Put my stock bolt back in and it shot flawlessly. Since then i've stuck with my stock bolt, it shoots great and I prefer its reliability over the small difference the boss bolt was offering. I might purchase an infamous bolt in the future and give it another try, we will see.

So Babyface what your saying is your only solution was to switch to the stock bolt? Nothing you could think of to fix the boss bolt would work with it?

Well I tried some things at the field and wasn't having much luck and I didn't want to spend all day trying to get it to work. The stock bolt works great for me and it allowed me to get back on the field instantly(after putting most settings back to stock for the stock bolt) that day.

I like tuning guns and making them perform better, but it pisses me off when certain things can be so finicky. Im able to shoot very brittle paint with minimal kick on the stock bolt already, so I will probably continue to use the stock bolt for a while.
