With the budget shrinking I think they should go be parked until we get some money. They could use the money saved to invest in csar assets or pilot hours or fix buildings on base or anything.

Personally I think there's a lot of other programs we could cut, that would make much more sense. Also, just cutting the number of non training hour related sorties would free up a lot more money.

if its one thing i have learned about the air force... we dont "fix anything" because we dont have monies. When we do get monies (usually money to spend by the end of the fiscal year)... we usually just blow it on gucci gear and crap we dont need (like 10,000 surfire batteries).

... just like a child we just got approved for like 15K for kennel renovations I hope to be gone and out of the career field before that ****storm hits

less time at a desk = more happy LT. spent most of my day today in our server room pulling **** out and spent most of yesterday pulling a couple hundred hard drives and RAM out of the stuff we're getting rid of.

I can't find anything about Fred kicking the bucket. and a google search yields no results to confirm.
