Barrel back or full barrel?

Can I use just a barrel back, or do I need the whole shebang?

I picked up a CP .682 barrel back for one of my cockers and was curious if I could start playing immediately or if I need to get a matching CP front. A 6" barrel doesn't really concern me in terms of length vs shortness, and might actually be a plus to keep the marker short while keeping the paint to bore match tight and accurate.

I'm going to be getting an iFit kit eventually, but in the mean time this was my stopgap measure for the tiny paint sold these days.

Hehe, you need the front too, otherwise it will be VERY loud and i can imagine it will be very inaccurate.
