The "Cincy, UConn and Louisville to the ACC rumor" appears to be have been false. It has mysteriously disappeared from the sources it originated from. It never made any sense to begin with.

The only reasonable rumors I have read this morning is that FSU is being demanding with Swofford and wanting a TV contract North of $25 million a year (virtually no way the ACC gets that unless ESPiN wants to preserve the ACC) and a halt to his Big Eastification of the ACC. Swofford is supposedly pushing adding some decent football programs to get back to 14 or maybe 16 (Louisville is being pushed but Tobacco Road doesn't want UL) and then several basketball only programs (Nova, St. John's, etc.) to get the overall conference up to 20. FSU is pushing back hard against that idea, for understandable reasons.

The second reasonable rumor is that Fox, which has about half the Big XII's tier 1 and 2 content and none of the ACC, is REALLY pushing the Big XII to go after FSU, Clemson, Miami and GaTech and is supposedly willing to pay handsomely for it (the number I read on Twitter is that Fox is willing to chip in for each of those teams around $4 million a year per Big XII team in net revenue). This makes sense because it gives Fox a lot of brand new content and content on the East coast, something they don't have any of right now. If FSU is in fact demanding $25 million from the ACC, that is for all three tiers and if those Fox numbers are right, the Big XII would be offering over $35 million a year (the number the SEC is supposedly pitching to VaTech) for just tiers 1 and 2.
