it has to do with the electronics/wiring in your car, pretty common problem with wrx's.

strange. I looked it up after you posted that, what a halfassed product. and I have to pay $60 for them to "fix" it. Id rather sell it and buy the v1 that I had originally wanted anyway. |

mine is hardwired to the pass side visor. Pretty hard to see unless you are looking for it.

Fair enough. It works well for what it is. I dont typically fly around anyways, so its nice to be able to shed a couple mph if there is a cop sitting up ahead.

I just think if you get pulled over for going like 7-10mph over....just adding a radar detector in the equation you add like 15-20% better chance of getting a ticket.

meh, I expect the cops to give me tickets anyway if they pull me over, so I don't care. I feel like I have a better chance arguing in front of the magistrate than arguing with a cop on the side of the road.

One of my friends was following a cop the other day on the highway. Cop slows down. Lets him pass. Pulls him over.
Guess cops are allowed to speed but citizens aren't. Gave him a warning. Said he was going 83 in a 70. I assume 83 is the speed the cop was going to determine that.
tl;dr - cops are douchebags

the radar isnt there to stop me from getting a ticket for 7-10 over. The radar is there for the times I feel like being reckless. |
