THanks. Got it installed and tested. No paint to chrono so haven't adjusted my dwell, but set pressure to 170 psi and fired a bit with the eyes off, and it was cycling just as fast as I could pull the trigger (didn't know I could pull the trigger that fast, either).
My guide orings were ancient, so I just went ahead and used the ones that came with the bolt, and will see how it goes next time I get to take it out.

Tuning and breaking in my shocker as we speak, so far my settings are 10dwell 150psi I'm hoping to have an efficiency test video for everyone by mid march. I know its a little ways out, but thats life

Put another case through my SFT this weekend. Haven't bothered to touch the ABS, Dwell or Input pressures once since getting the eigen and breaking it in. I suppose I should actually try tuning it now, but my efficiency hasn't been all too bad.. I've been playing 7 man practices without running out of air, but I haven't always been shooting all 9 pods either. But the consistency has been kinda ****ty. I'm partly blaming that on not bothering to size my barrel and paint though.

So have the inner-bore issues been figured out with the eigen? I don't really like how finicky it sounds like the bolt guide o-rings are, but really want to max out my shocker. Am I correct in assuming it's not going to be re-released?

No, the bolts have all been machined and won't be re-machined, so the inner bores are all slightly too small. If you want to max out your Shocker, this is still the bolt to get.

Ok, good to know, I'll still be picking one up. Have we figured out what the best o-ring size is for the guide/where to get them? I've read most of the thread but haven't found this yet
On second thought, it seems that it might not really be that big of a deal, as long as it seals I'm not too worried. I can always do a bit of experimenting with metric rings myself

95% chance your regular orings or the ones lurker provides are going to work great.

Roughly how many tanks should be shot through it before the bolt is usable for play? i know break in will take a while, but I'm talking about enough so that i can play at least 5 matches w/o it jamming up on me.

Honestly, I'd break them into your bolt guide by using metal polish and doing it by hand

Then I should be good to play? I understand that it's not an overnight process, I just want to know what level I need to get it to before playing. I am very limited when it comes to getting air fills.

If you continue to have issues: bolt stick, fsdo, bad consistently...
Adjust how far in your bolt guide is screwed in. Have noticed alot of in consistency between bolt guides, they are not all machined the same and seem to be the root of many issues.
If you have tried everything....get on the bst or ebay and buy a different bolt guide.

I think using tight fitting o-rings for all the dynamic seals might be a good idea so there is more friction to take off the black crap as fast as possible. My o-rings are loose, which is nice for playing but I think it is making the break-in process way too long. Tight o-rings that allow thr bolt to at least cycle at all woukd probably be your best bet. And Lurker lube is definitely the way to go.

I have yes. NDZ guides are the trick. I tried 4 different NDZ adjustable guides with 6 different eigens and every NDZ guide fit every eigen perfectly using regular buna 012's. 4 of those 6 eigens were having trouble fitting orings with all other guides I tried. My next best result was stock, hybrid etc. Guides and 9.5mm X 1.5mm metric orings that I swelled with dow55 but some of these were still to loose and had sealing issues.

Well thnx for the info jim might just need to bust out my ndz adjustable guide that I have lying around. I have been having alot of issues and if my ooperating pressure is not at 200 psi my shocker will not fully cycle

Nope. Just using whatever has been in my deadlywinds for the past couple weekends with some 2 month old empire custom. I think generally speaking it's been an overbore. Which is fine because some of this batch of custom had really weak seams and is extremely brittle.
Gonna be sizing it this weekend as I have a tournament and I'm depending on my shocker.

I'd rather underbore than use an sft ring
