Why people stop playing paintball Events.
Why do you thin most ppl quit playing tournaments? Money, just suck, or just are really bad?

Because it's a huge money pit with little or no return. It was fun, but real life caught up with it.

Wrong section. Moving to Paintball talk.
And to answer your question... there's a lot of other things that can be enjoyed on the weekend.

Me and my bank account had too many fights about paying $70 for a case of marbles so I sold my **** and bought a Honda, and best decision of my life.

A good decision is buying a first gen civic in good condition for 1/3 of its un restored price.

PSP and NPPL tournaments are way too expensive for most people. Big scenarios like LL and d-day are stupid because its basically just a game of take a spot then the new enemy spawn over runs your position then rinse and repeat for the entire scenario.

The tournaments I've been in, I've placed in second or third. I couldn't find time to play because my job hogged the weekends. My team would show up trying to convince the manager to let me go so they could get to the finals. I was the only real frontman they knew. I taught them a bunch of stuff. We would field walk for hours finding ways to exploit the field. Money and most jobs going 24/7 on schedules stopped me.

lots of different things, cause people too stop playing but one of the big things was value for money spent.
when you think teams pay thousands of $$$ too playand only get limited trigger time ,then you start too ask is it worth it.In europe more players are going too scenario games as they get more bang for their buck, things like smaller bunkers and smaller fields have made games shorter and shorter time wise.
think about it say on average you get 10-12 games per tournie lasting on average 2-3 minutes, then you only get about 30 mins play per tournie.
when you can play a scenario game for about the same money and get 6-8 hrs play, not going to be long before you go where you think there is better value
