The thread where you can post all about Grand-Am and ALMS. I figured make them in the same thread since they are merging next year.

I found this interesting for ALMS, Lotus is making 2 LMP2 cars, the Lotus T128.

Surprising since lotus is broke as **** and that is the reason that the lotus GTE team has left them. "failure to fill contract obligations along with finacial and R&D support", which is the same thing that ran them out of IRL last year.

No LMP2 cars are entered for this season in alms, next year they are going to merge them with the DP's which is a laughable mistake since the DP's are about 8-10 secs a lap slower at a majority of the race tracks and can't even compete with the GTE cars.

That is WEC not alms, those cars will race in europe and maybe texas but anywhere else is doubtful.

**** yeah I just saw that about the lotus.

But about the DP's and LMP2's, I heard they think they can only add aero to the DP's and they will be the same pace as LMP2. I just hope they don't dumb down the p2's!
