Speedball in la?

What fields in la are having good turnouts for speedball right now?

All of them from what i have seen ... I think paintball is making a come back , ecspecially in the lafayette area with Levena in Duscon and Acadiana paintball complex, whoch is a brand new field in Lafayette

I know of lax I didn't know they were still balling over there! That's great news.

I've seen Acadians website it looks very nice!

Someone just mentioned Levena to me the other day I hadn't heard if it before, and haven't had a chance to do any research on it yet.

And tournament ball going on at any of these fields?

There was a SCPA tourny this past week at Geaux Splat and Lake Charles, LA. LAX has had 5 man and a 3 man in the past couple months and we are gearing up to have some more soon.

Sweet deal guys! I'm currently trying to work on a tri state series for ms al and la. I know bama has aces and the western section of la has Scpa, but that leaves ms and the boot of la kinda stuck in the middle with nothing but a lot of driving if they want to play in a series. I think it would be good for the sport in our areas to have a strong series for people to compete in plus by my count we nearly have 20 fields that are playing speed ball in the tri state area if we can all work in conjunction with each other it could be a very very successful and beneficiary for everyone field owners and players alike.

That would be awesome if its done right. APPA ranking and PSP affiliate league if possible...

It will defiantly be appa. Haven't looked into psp affiliation but plan on doing so. It will be formed off of a tournament series that has a long running history. I will be strictly the promoter dealing with logistics and liaisons with sponsoring companies. I'm in a very early stage of this but hoping to have the first event in early 2014.

Any input from players is welcomed! What you guys would like to see. As with any series there will be serious year end incentives to play in it World Cup entry will be top prize for one and winning a series always looks great to sponsors especially if this has the draw that I am predicting it will!

This is really great.. I'm always for promoting the sport of paintball.. It really needs a much larger following in the south central area. When it gets as big as it is on the east and wet coast, it will be AMAZING..

Well me and dirty_30 is gonna sit down and talk about it when I come home. Then I'm going to make some calls to all the fields and see who is interested in doing it. Then we will all as field owners will get together and get into details about the whole servers.

I don't want to intrude into someone else's series, if they wanted to be larger they would be. I'm going to run this series strictly and safely with the key goals to be fun for players and spectators, while getting our sport more mainstreamed in the south. Possibly get the local tv channels to provide coverage. I have a ton of ideals and am ready to put them into action. Thank for showing interest guys! It's getting me even more movitated.
