Tippmann 98 TechT fang

Ok, I may be stupid as this is my first paintball gun. I bought the TechT fang double trigger and cannot get the thing to go in. I know how to take the marker apart and have installed a Tippmann double trigger with no problems. The fangs front hole (the smaller one) for the front trigger pin is too small. I've tried the fang with the bearings and without and can't get it to go on. I also tried the new pin that comes in the kit, but it doesn't fit on that one either. What the heck am I doing wrong?? Does someone have exact instructions on how to install the stupid thing??

Thank you! I can try the install for the mechanical, but can I do that with the other fang that has the bearings? For some reason when I ordered 2 (1 for me and 1 for my husband) they sent me both kinds.

It should be the same installation method for both roller bearing and without.

The roller bearings are the updated versions, the ones without are the originals. Just minor differences you will really only notice when used with the E-Grip.

Ok, I finally got it to fit on the trigger pin, but now I have another problem. I cannot get the clip to hit the sear. It will not fire after installation. It seems like the trigger clip is sitting too far away from the sear.

If you are able to post a picture of the assembly maybe we can pinpoint your problem.
