Question What is the difference between a 2011 Proto Rail and a 2011 PMR?

I've been trying to buy a used 2011 PMR, and it seems near impossible to find one. They always end up being a "2011 Proto Rail," and not the PMR I was looking for.

Could somebody please explain the difference to me, and how I can differentiate easier?

Effectively, that's true. But they actually use a slightly different solenoid (internally, externally it's the same), different milling...

PMRs went from 2007 - 10 then in 2011 the came out with 2 different guns the Reflex Rail and the 2011 Rail there is no 2011 PMR. In 2010 the PMRs were going for around 400 and were great guns with the SLG coming in at a lower price. Since the SLGs were mostly a failure Dye stopped em and just released 2 totally new and different rails... Go with a Reflex or older PMR. A used 2011 reflex on here would be your best bet
