3D writers

These writers in budgetmode aint expensive,..around 4-700usd.. and I'm woundering if someone have used one to do any usefull stuff..
For an example, a bolt ore a trigger?

Can't stop thinking of what these machines are capable to do.
Imagine three years from now, or five..there will be luxes, bob's and dm's for all.

Kindly regards//Rickard

Cant imagine 3D printing would be as precise or more economical than simply milling delrin. Very few parts could be 3D printed and it wouldnt lower costs of R&D, marketing, etc.

There's 3D printed hopper shells being printed out there. Honestly, though, the cheaper printers are only capable of printing 4"x4"x4", so you have to take that into consideration. If you're looking at prototyping, or making a few of something particular for yourself or a few buddies, 3D printing isn't a bad way to go. If you're thinking about doing anything big, or large numbers of an item, there's other ways to do it.

It's not market share i'm thinking about..Tought i belive that 3d printers will be bigger than microwave..
My thoughts is only around the possibillities.

For an example.: I dropped my butterknife on the floor.. The dischmachine is full and your girlfriend is on the run..
No problem. Just press the button.
There is examples where budgetprinters makes parts thats glued together.

And..To do crazy triggers should'nt be a problem for todays cheap printers..
