Well, that answers my question, if not directly. But just to make sure: your bolt does NOT seal the firing chamber in the forward position, correct?

So you're dropping 100 large on CNC machines? That's a bold stroke. If you've got open machine time maybe we can talk though

You better have that checked out by a experienced machinist/programmer. $20,000 is cheap for a 5 axis machine. even used

Have you thought about this? You will need... Spare Machine parts (machines break) Support (you cant fix everything by your self) Tooling, Rigging, 3 phase Power for the machines, Fixtures Other workholding vises, clamps etc How your even gone to program a five axis machine? You will need cad/cam package.. plus Coolant, way oil, misc screws, air compressor, measuring equipment list goes on and on.

Your talking tooling for three machines.. I hope you have big budget... I think we spent $10,000 tooling up our new lathe right off the bat

The machine is the cheap part. So you should be dropping around $100,000+

Plus the your salary paying the guy to teach you... your looking at $50+ an hour (realistically $80-$100)

At least you went with fadal and mazak alot of support with them..

That makes no sense to get a machine to only handle porting...

Your better off getting a Mazak like ours a Quickturn 100 MSY. You can make the shockers bolt complete one machine

Lets maybe take this to pm's

I understand the risk.I invested everything I could afford to purchase everything and delivery,
A family member is now investing to help it really get started.

I plan on buying a all in one machine, but at the moment I took the deal on these three machines setup and a very close friend who inspected them,He is a machinist.

My trade off with the guy who is teaching me,he is also using them and we are teaming up.
A guy who works with a former teammate wrote the file's that run the machine's for $100 ea.
Also wrote the file to mill break beem eye's and sft eye covers.

Thanks again for your help. I am aware of better equipment, but starting out these are doing a fantastic job. They are not setup at my roofing warehouse, they are now in Carrollton GA and being operated and maintained by my new partner.

I have news for everyone.

45 days out!!!!!!!!! The bolts are made and ready to go. I have also very solid data from testing.

10-11 pods or around 1600 shots with no other upgrades.

Dwell avg 9-11 ms is perfect. 100-130 psi.

I have one shocker that will shoot 1900 shots on a 68/45.The lowest number I have gotten was a all black sft that a local player had,I dropped my bolt and rhino spring in,adjusted the pressure and it shot 1400 shots and the dwell was super high.

I have done this test over and over with 17 different guns. I can say with confidence that 10 pods is easy as drop in,lube and go cause problems with your uzi.

Happy 2013 everyone......
