Horizontal or Vertical Harness?

Which do you prefer?

I just bought a package deal off Ansgear since it was $30 for a remote line, 4+1 harness and 4 pods.

The Package came with a horizontal harness, I have a 2 pod vertical harness and I prefer vertical over horizontal. I don't know if its the less pods or it being vertical, but horizontal just doesn't feel right.

Play with both and see what you feel more comfortable with. The "normal" set up would be vertical. But horizontal harnesses have been around just as long and are wicked popular with the scenario crowd.

I hate those things. Cause it's like the 4 pods on the sides then the tank in the middle. That's my opinion you may like it but I use a valken 4+3 pod pack

Horizontal harness

Where can you find a horizontal harness with 3 or 4 on one side?

Thanks

Whichever is more comfortable for you however the big advantage of the vertical harness is that you can pull from any loop with either hand whereas horizontal harnesses pretty much force you to only pull from one side with each hand. They also stick out side to side further.

One major advantage the horizontal harnesses have is that it's much, much easier to get the pods back in them while on the field. Not a big deal on a field the size of a postage stamp, but on a 20 acre scenario game field you ain't chucking those pods to the side line.

Unfortunately there's a definite lack of low profile horizontal packs these days. 4 horizontal holders in the center of the pack would be ideal for me, maybe along side a tank holder for those who prefer remotes. They used to make a bunch of different ones like that (JT Speed pack, Redz Flex Tech, others) but not so much any more unfortunately.
