Billy wing'd nt11 question
Alright so I recently picked up a Billy wing'd nt11 and was having some issues with it chopping (marb to be specific). I was looking on here and found a thread that stated putting an o-ring (not sure on the exact size) on the green bolt flow insert would reduce chops and allow the gun to shoot paint as brittle as ultra evil with little or no breaks.
Since my gun was billy wing'd I was under impression that the bolt flow insert was one of the pieces he mods and was not supposed to be messed with. My question is do I go ahead and remove the modded bolt flow insert and put a o-ring on it? Or do I remove the modded insert completely and put the green one back in along with the o-ring around it?
Thanks and any advice is gladly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you would just pop out the modded one put the blue/ purple #10 oring on the front, and put it back in. It just keeps the bolt slightly further in the breach to help wit roll back and clipping the next ball in the stack. If it doesn't help for some reason just take it out.

If it chops I would look at the eye pipe before anything, then at the eyes. I personally do not own a Bwinged NT, but I do own an NT. I replace the eye pipe once ever 4 months or so. Check to see if your detents are intact as well. Sometimes those detents pop out for no apparent reason. Then I would check the eyes, if it keeps chopping, try messing with the bolt. From my understanding when an NT is BWinged, each bolt/gun is tinkered in a different way. So one bolt might be a bit different than another. Let me know how it goes

Yea that's why I didn't know if I should be messing with it lol
Anyway eye pipe + detents are all good no cracks. Eyes are working perfectly fine as well.
Anyone want to confirm what Swamper stated? I just don't want to mess anything up if that part shouldn't be messed with.
Thanks for the advice guys

This is what I have heard from the thread - start with the blue/ purple #010 ORING
"The 6x1 mm oring I had laying around from my clone. A standard
Oring may be too thick for some, making the bolt face sit too far into the breach. You can try an 011 (orange dye orings)"
"Dont use the orange oring, when the ball swells they get stuck. I use a smaller blue one from the nt parts kit [#010 oring] and it works perfectly."

I just purchased some 1.5x6 mm o rings. I also wanted to try monkey poo as well. I have a stock NT11 that I am wanting to send out to Billy. I will post my findings if so I will have 8 of these 1.5mm x6mm o rings laying around. This is the size between all the o rings that have been posted. Hopefully will help from reading all these threads.
