VL Orion braided line problems
My VL Orion's braided line just broke. I don't want to give up on my first gun quite yet, is there something I can do to fix it? The line itself is fine, but the connector just broke off. Are there any spare parts hanging around anywhere?

This is a little old, but oh well. You can probably just replace it with a macro line kit. I bought one from ansgear and it had the hose and the two connector pieces (can't remember the technical name)

Yeah, I looked into that. Problem is, the adapter is $20 and the gun is worth maybe $25. I was just wondering if there was another solution.

$20? I must be thinking of something else. Did the asa (part that the tank screws into) break?

No, it's the part where the braided line screws into the gun.

Sorry, I can't figure out how to put a clickable link. Anyway, this should be all you need to fix it (if I understand the problem correctly)

The problem is that the asa is unique to the gun. I have an old asa lying around, but it's too big to fit the gun. When I get back from CA next week, I'll post pics and see if that helps.
