Had an old tank without a reg. Bought a new crossfire ss reg and the first time I put air in it, it had a slow leak out the very front of the valve. Put a reg tester on it and it stays at 800 psi. How do I fix this? Tried to take the bonnet off and the thing is on there like a boss. Help!

You will notice the body or base of our reg has 4 flats. Remove the jewel (put face down you can re use it with the glue on there.) get a 15/16" wrench for the body after you remove the set screws. Use a 7/8 for the top and remove the bonnet if it is on tightly. Check the stem or pin seal for debris. Call us and we would be more than happy to walk through it with you. 269-383-1111
