Vx'ed clone will be smoother, quieter, and more efficient.

The dx will have less maintenance.

The dx is amazing for its price point. That said if you can afford it I'd get the vx'ed

You can easily find a vx'd clone under the retail price of a drone. You can find a used drone for less than the clone though so keep that in mind. Vx'd clones go for ~$500 give or take

I just picked up a drone for $300 for my bro in law. Hes upgrading from an rt 98. I made a short vid shooting it and its an awesome gun! Its pretty simple, Light and just rips. Worth every $. Im newish to macdev but im more than happy with my gt's and this drone. These took the place of my bob longs.

Retail of a Drone DX is only $480 eh... ANSgear has had them for that for at least a month. Used seems to be about $350ish.

For the vx'd clone I was hoping around 400ish I think I found one near there.

I guess what I'm asking is if the $50 more for the clone worth it, and it sounds like it is. Thanks

wow that even has the vx reg, not the reg off the V1 and V2 clones so make sure you get the proper reg manuals. Great deal man!

I downloaded the manual for the clone... just says clone manual. Is there a separate one I need to be aware of?

I'm glad everyone thinks it's a good deal. I made use of the 10% ebay coupon and the seller was gracious to accept an earlier offer lower than the BIN price (a little higher than starting bid). Noticed these in the BST for about 550-750. hope it works out.
