Sup guys, i need your help to choose my next gun, i currently own a leaking Geo 09.

well, i got an awesome offer on both guns, they are the same price here where i live.
The SLS was barelly used and considerating that SLS is White/Gold, come with the complete set of barrels, triggers, spancers, etc. And the Geo2 was normally used.

Poppet vs Spool...

I'd go with the Ego, but that is just me.

Well, let's make this easier.

What are the 5 things you want in a gun, in order?


For me, it goes like this:

1. Air use

2. Shot:Shot consistency

3. Looks (lol, I know)

4. ergonomics

5. price


So for me, the SLS would win.

Albeit it I hate both anyways, I prefer the SLS for these reasons.


Cons (comparatively):

Louder

Taller

More top heavy

kickier stock, but can cheaply be made to be less so


Pros:

More efficient

more consistent

better resale value in the long term market

less maintenance

more durable

higher demand and lower supply



So that's what would make me take the SLS over the Geo2.

In this case, you can still keep ergonomics, but it's almost moot since the frames are very close to each other in their shape/function to the point where everything within them is interchangeable.

Yeah iam more into spool shooting, like smooth shot but Ego nowdays has become more and more smooth and quiet, and i belive SL series even more, so i might try the poppet world, wich ive been curious about

Also since it is SL series i think the re-sell will be better than a simply Geo2, thanks for the help guys!

How many pods do you normally shoot per point? The Geo2 is not very air efficient so that is what I would base my decision on. Also take into account the air fills you normally get, does you field offer 4-4.5 or only 3? If you mostly play back and/or your field only offers 3, you may want to get the Ego. If air isn't an issue I'd get the Geo2.

i play Front Dorito and normally dont shoot that much, air isnt an issue for me, i might get the SLS since its same release year as the Geo2 but was barelly used, it trully looks like it is brand new. Also for re-selling it will be much more well-payed since it is a SL 'exclusive' gun. Also it is the SAME price as the Geo2, i might go with Ego this time.
