Moving the rubber hose inside the metal housing is an advancement in paintball marker evolution. Most high end guns have done away with the macro line (Luxe, vapor, demon, Mcdev Gt, Bob Long G6R, Ripper, etc.) and the lower end ones are following (mini). I predict Planet Eclipse will eventually lose the macro lines as well (Ego 13?).

I was amazed at the number of Luxes being shot at WC this year. It seemed like every team was shooting them. Of course they all weren't... but the level of popularity was very surprising. At PSP type events, they might be more popular than ever.

I'm not sure what this had to do with the question asked at all..
And to be fair, the mini did it first.
But yes, I would get a luxe. There is no reason that I can think of not to. An I don't know anything for a fact but it seems like dlx is doing pretty decently with the amount of new splashes they're coming out with.

What field do you play at? And what is the techs name. I'd love a word with him

I actually think they are one of the easier guns to tech... There really are only 3 orings to worry about for fsdo, and as many luxes as I've had (at least 5) I've never had any issue other than oring fitment... If u have questions, u can call CS and most of the time u will actually talk to Darryl! U can't go wrong with the luxe, and they have the best resale value of any marker on the planet

The only place that Luxe's are not the most popular gun (at the national level) is NPPL. The reason is efficiency. I carry between 11-14 pods in pro game as a back guy, so I don't ALWAYS use my Luxe for that, but 5 of 7 Vendetta players do. If we played PSP we woudl all shoot Luxes, as 7 pods and a hopper is more than enough for any 5 man PSP game!
The Vendetta guys play in the CXBL as Vancouver Thunder, and they all shoot Luxes for that. Same guys as for the 7 man squat, in 25 minute half games... shooting Luxes.

I was responding to his tech saying ,"no macro-line and inline hosing" made it " impossible to tech." As if it would be better for the Luxe to have a macro line.

sometimes techs like to have the gun partly disassembled, but aired up... can't do that with internal plumbing. Not really a big deal for the typical owner and average repairs.
