blew the asa oring in g6r but...

blew the oring in my asa on my g6r, but i was only running a 450 output, it only had 1 silver shim in it...any ideas? it has the lp poppit. ordered the slp but was wanting to fire a pod.

It happens i suppose. My ASA came loose once and caused the oring to go out. A teammate of mine had it happen with a SLP regulator as well. Orings aren't perfect.

Low pressure is fine. 450 or less psi is recommended on all markers that are macro free..

How did you remove the shim and have air in that tank still?

You should check the output pressure of the tank to be sure it's outputting correctly, and make sure you tighten the ASA good.

Double check the output pressure, might also double check that you used the correct oring.

oring was correct, sized on chart and all, is it possible that even with all the shims removed the pressure is still way out of whack?

Might need to use a tester on the reg. Basically get a old asa and a 0-1000psi gauge on it

is there a diffrence in the stock ninja reg and the ninja pro as far as output pressures? that maybe my issue, im using my 90 which is the stock reg my 68 has a pro reg

you mean you haven't built a tank pressure tester? You just need an ASA and a gauge.

or a pressure tester for the G6R in general.

black ones im guessing? I think we found your problem. The black ones are buna O rings, basically rubber. You need urethane, they take abuse better.
