Dang. I had something similar although on a WAY smaller degree. And except it was my fault not a doctors. While I was at a lake I guess I cut a toe on a nail sticking up from a dock. I thought it was sprained or jammed so I ignored the pain all day. At the end I realized that my toe was dangling by skin and some like tendons or something. Anyways I just got it put back on with simple stitches. The doctor wouldn't let me cut it off :/

Can't imagine how it'd ruin a closer since the tight tolerance parts are self contained and the orings that touch the body are static.

I've got it now. I've been hunting down a leak on the non-fubar body for a while now. It really makes me want to just toss the fubar body in the trash and not even mess around with it. It's a real pain.
