VCOM HPR Reg Not Unscrewing!

Problem solved:

Use a strap wrench.

strap wrench. if that fails I usually take a piece of drippy rubber and then use vice grips on top of that to get traction and leverage without marring up the metal.

You're not trying to unscrew the whole reg are you? You just need to unscrew the bottom half, that's where all the stuff that needs maintenance is. The top half should stay attached to the gun

The VCOM regulator is different from the G6r regulator. For the VCOM, the whole regulator unscrews.


edit: ...and yes, the removal the first time was pretty hard, they had it either really torqued down or some blue loctite was on it.

I'm gonna stop by lowes and pick up a strap wrench tonight. If anyone else has some other ideas let me know.

Vcom is just like the other gen2 marqs and they are like the gen6 intimidators..

The housing that holds the shims and piston unscrew from the body, the Schrader valve stays in the body.
