I'd say they're only really worth it if you still grind and use your own coffee in one of the mesh cups. Most of the coffee is otherwise pretty expensive for being only a pretty decent blend. Unless you bargain hunt and get the $5 boxes of whatever generic medium roast you can find.
What you lose in volume, you gain in efficiency. Plus it's just nice to have something that can spit out a couple cups of hot water on demand, like for oatmeal, hot chocolate, cup-o-noodles, or whatever other instant **** you have around.

i was hoping that windows 8 didn't suck so bad that way maybe i could go back to a pc again...looks like another 4 years of macbook
