Is what I have enough to get into a tournament

Hi I have a 3 man team n been playing for about 2 years my question is what me n my teammates have enought to get into our first tournament

My teammates have
2011 Proto rail cf ninja tank
2011 bob long vice with cf peanut tank ninja
Me invert mini v3 virtue board orange bolt off n on Asa cf ninja tank

How much paint should we take or buy what are the rules at tournaments any help would be apreciated do we need to have team jerseys etc... Thanks for the help in advance

What do you mean is it enough? You have a gun, tank, and hopper right? Do you have a mask and pod pack? That's all you need...

Find a tournament you want to play in and then read the rules. You are over thinking it.
Basically, you get 3 people together and go play. You do NOT need to match, a 3 man isn't serious Enough for you to go buy matching jerseys.
Paint is usually FPO

Yea well we have dye i4 mask Velcro pod packs n rotor hoppers just wasn't sure about the jerseys I'm planning on attending that tournament game in Arizona next month

Soo division 5 is the lowest rank next to unranked correct ???

Uh. Ya. You have enough. You don't need jerseys either. Just good gun skills. Just wear a longsleeve and some paintball pants. All you really need

Depends on what tournaments you guys play. If you play an event that uses the APPA ranking system, then you will be points after that event based on what division you played and how well you did.

If you guys are a newer team looking to play 3 man, there are several leagues in the So Cal area that are good for that. Lyfe Events by PBLyfe is a 3 man series at Camp P that are great for new and old teams alike and offer 3 different divisions of beginner, D4, and Open. If you can find two more players, you can look into the Action Star Games series at ASG. These are D4 events that play the same format as the WCPPL and PSP. They also use the APPA ranking system. There are also several beginner leagues that are getting started at ASG to help newer teams move up in the tournament scene.

BTW, is you team name Resistance?

Me and my teammates wanna start with the appa ranking soo do I just sign my team n pay fees for that tourney I wanna play right ??

Yeah, there is already a team resistance and a team karnage in So cal.

go to paintball-players.org. Create a personal account and from there you can make a team account. Have all of your teammates create personal accounts as well. You can see a list of events that use APPA on the site. Follow the steps and you can register and pay for the events through APPA. Make sure each play knows their APPA ID number (all 9 digits) because you will need it to add them to the roster. Once they have played with you, then it is saved and you can add who you want from your saved roster.

I would start out at small tourney's to get your feet wet, then move up from there. As mentioned before, there are several local tournaments to start out with. CSULB does their beach series (the next one is this weekend, but is full already). Might want to look into those next season.

no, you dont. you should go out and buy all new matching gear, and brand new $1700 markers
